Via Skype, we will talk about how to get started with your acting career. For 30 minutes, we'll discuss:1) Training.
Like an athlete, an actor must be diligent about keeping those acting skills in tip-top shape. Whether you have an MFA or no schooling at all, I'll recommend the best classes NY has to offer. Different schools teach different methods, so we'll try to find the one that fits you best.
2) Headshot/Resume Review
Your headshot is your calling card. We'll make sure yours is up to industry standard and talk about your type. Next we'll make sure your resume follows industry format and talk about what to add to it if it feels a little light.
3) Auditions
Where do you find auditions? There are plenty of auditions sites out there- most of which cost money- so we'll talk about the ones that industry professionals use. We'll also discuss out-of-the-box places to find auditions and briefly discuss cover letters and submission notes.
4) Meeting Industry People
